Before you start - Add your business profile, phone number, opening hours, staff list, and the services customers can book.

First setup pass
Use this order for a barber account before sharing the booking link publicly.
- Add the real services customers ask for, such as Haircut, Skin Fade, and Beard Trim.
- Set the duration and price for each service.
- Assign services to the right barber or leave them open to anyone who can do the work.
- Set business hours, minimum notice, and how far ahead customers can book.
- Decide whether deposits are needed for busy times or higher-value services.
- Set what Resk should do when no matching slot is available.
- Brand the public booking page with the shop name, logo, cover image, contact details, and gallery.
- Open the public booking page on a phone and make a test booking.
- Check that the appointment appears in the Bookings calendar.
- Remove the test booking before going live.
Daily barber workflow
At opening:
- Open Bookings and check the day view.
- Review appointment notes, deposits, and any unusual booking times.
- Check whether walk-ins can fit between booked appointments.
During the day:
- Add walk-ins, phone bookings, and DMs with New Booking.
- Reschedule immediately when a customer changes time.
- Keep notes short and practical for the barber doing the work.
At close:
- Check tomorrow’s bookings.
- Confirm staff coverage for busy services.
- Update availability if opening hours, holidays, or staff rotas changed.
